Professor Terry Burke and Dr Christopher Phelps receive awards at AHRC

The ÂþÌìÌÃÈë¿Úresearch team recently attended the Australasian Housing ÂþÌìÌÃÈë¿Úers Conference held in Sydney, to connect with the housing research sector and consider potential housing futures.
At this event, ÂþÌìÌÃÈë¿Úawarded two researchers for their work and impact in housing research, with recipients from Swinburne University and Curtin University.
Dr Terry Burke, Emeritus Professor of Housing Studies at Swinburne University, was awarded the Professor Mike Berry Award for Excellence in Housing ÂþÌìÌÃÈë¿Ú.
The Professor Mike Berry Award for Excellence in Housing ÂþÌìÌÃÈë¿Ú, also known as 'The Berry' is an award presented each year at the Australasian Housing ÂþÌìÌÃÈë¿Úers Conference, with the recipient receiving an engraved award and a $1,000 cash prize, sponsored by .
Dr Burke was awarded 'best paper' with the The Berry Award in recognition of recent research, celebrating his impact in housing research.
The second award recipient was Dr Christopher Phelps, ÂþÌìÌÃÈë¿Ú Fellow at the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance, Curtin University, who received the Federal Minister’s Early Career Housing ÂþÌìÌÃÈë¿Úer Award.
