Policy development research integrates the traditionally separate processes of evidence building and policy development into one set of practices. The Model demands a high degree of collaboration within and between the policy and research communities. This collaboration occurs through specialised AHURI-developed research vehicles that integrate research and policy engagement. These vehicles include Inquiries, First Nations housing research projects, Investigative Panels, and Projects, which are established to address identified policy research priorities. Applications for research funding are only open to AHURI’s Partner universities. All applications are assessed on merit by a panel of policy makers and independent academics. For further information, refer to the NHRP Agenda published during the annual NHRP Funding Round. agenda releases an annual Agenda which sets out the NHRP’s priorities for housing and homelessness research. The agenda is developed through consultation with Australian Government agencies, state and territory government agencies, Centre Directors and the Board. The topics identified in the Agenda have direct relevance to policy development priorities and call for research to inform policy reforms and practice innovation. 2027 NHRP Agenda Previous research agenda 2026 NHRP Agenda 2025 NHRP Agenda 2024 NHRP Agenda 2023 NHRP Agenda 2022 NHRP Agenda 2021 NHRP Agenda 2020 NHRP Agenda 2019 NHRP Agenda 2018 NHRP Agenda 2017 NHRP Agenda 2016 NHRP Agenda 2015 NHRP Agenda 2014 NHRP Agenda Information for Partners VIEW HERE
