New ÂþÌìÌÃÈë¿Úresearch has revealed today that more households with higher incomes are renting and the shortage of private rental homes that are affordable for very low income households has worsened.

AHURI’s in-house consulting team, ÂþÌìÌÃÈë¿ÚProfessional Services, in partnership with the Social Policy ÂþÌìÌÃÈë¿Ú Centre (SPRC), University of New South Wales, is undertaking evaluation of the NSW Government’s Together Home Program. 

A person’s gender has a real impact on their ability to find safe, affordable housing. New ÂþÌìÌÃÈë¿Úresearch highlights that policy makers and support services need to develop secure and accurate data collection and collation practices in order to improve outcomes.

Dr Richards brings extensive economic research expertise and experience from the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) and the International Monetary Fund.
Ms Samms brings a strong understanding and grounding in public policy combined with specialist expertise in social housing, First Nations housing and homelessness.
